Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, optional phone number, and the board and class you select at sign-up.
• Learning activity — quiz attempts, scores, saved notes, and the chapters you study. This is what powers your progress tracking.
• AI conversations — the questions you ask the tutor and the answers it gives, so you can return to a conversation later.
• Payment records — transaction identifiers and amounts. Card details are handled entirely by Razorpay and never reach our servers.

How we use it

To run the service: showing your progress, unlocking difficulty levels, giving the AI tutor enough context to be useful, and processing subscriptions. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to advertise to you.

Who else sees it

Prompts you send to the AI tutor are processed by Google's Gemini API in order to generate a reply. Payments are processed by Razorpay. If a teacher has added you to their scholar circle, that teacher can see your quiz scores — but not your private AI conversations.

Students under 18

Most of our users are at school, so this matters. Indian law treats anyone under 18 as a child and requires a parent or guardian's consent before we process their personal data.

• We ask for a date of birth at sign-up. That is the only way for us to know who this applies to.
• If the student is under 18 we ask for a parent or guardian's name and email, and send that address a link explaining what we keep. The account is only fully approved once they confirm.
• We record who approved and when.
• We do no advertising, no profiling and no behavioural tracking of anybody, and never of a child.
• A parent or guardian can withdraw consent at any time by writing to support@geniemind.in. We delete the account and everything in it.

Getting your data, or deleting it

From your profile page you can download everything we hold about you as a file, and delete your account permanently. Deleting removes your profile, your quiz history, your saved notes and your conversations with the study helper. Payment records are kept only as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile at any time from your account settings. To request a full export or permanent deletion of your data, email us and we'll action it within 30 days.
